To use SourceNovel, you must:

- Maintain the security of your account credentials

Intellectual Property Rights
Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create using SourceNovel:
- • All original content you upload remains your intellectual property
- • AI-generated content based on your prompts belongs to you
- • You grant us a limited license only to provide the Service to you
- • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload
Our Service
SourceNovel and its features are protected by intellectual property laws:
- • The Service, its features, and functionality are owned by SourceNovel
- • You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service
- • Our trademarks and branding remain our exclusive property
Revenue Sharing
Content Created After June 21, 2025
For all content created using SourceNovel after June 21, 2025, the following revenue sharing terms apply:
Author's Share:80%
SourceNovel's Share:20%
- • This applies to all revenue generated from content created after the effective date
- • Content created before June 21, 2025 remains subject to existing terms
- • Revenue includes sales, licensing, and any other monetization of your content
- • Authors retain full ownership and copyright of their content
You agree not to use SourceNovel to:
- Create content that violates any laws or regulations
- Generate hateful, discriminatory, or harmful content
- Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
AI-Generated Content
When using AI features:

- • You acknowledge that AI-generated content may require editing
- • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content
- • We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI outputs
- • You must comply with AI providers' terms when using their services
If you subscribe to paid features:
- Payments are processed securely through third-party providers
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the billing period
- Prices may change with notice
Disclaimers and Limitations
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- • The accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
- • That the Service will meet your specific requirements
- • The preservation of your content (please maintain backups)
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SourceNovel harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Your content ownership rights survive termination.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes are resolved in San Francisco County courts.
